Red herringbone tiles, an Edwardian style of design on a large pathway with brick wall edging.

25. Red herringbone path tiles

Popular in the Edwardian period, traditional red herringbone tiles can be seen using various sizes of rectangles. This large pathway uses the most common size of a 6 inch x 2 inch tile to make up the field and border pattern. Low brick walls edge the path leading to this large North London property.
